A new competitor for Lenovo A6000, Xiaomi Redmi 1S and Moto E in the Indian market, an American branded smartphone…! InFocus recently entered with a big bang..! InFocus M2..! This handset is manufactured by Foxconn. This amazing handset grabs much attention initially by having a good awareness of local market..! It scored a good 18,542 points on AnTuTu Benchmark (v5.6.1). consistent with benchmark scores, the device is at par (or more) with alternative branded smartphones.
InFocus M2 has a budget friendly price tag..! It is available for just Rs.4999..! The specs of this smartphone are just wow making..! It posses Android 4.4 KitKat OS, MT6582 Quad-Core 1.3GHz processor. The networking options include, GSM, GPRS, EDGE and HSPA. It has a 4.2-inch WXGA 355 ppi display.
InFocus M2 has micro SD card slot (supports upto 64 GB). The device is powered up by a 2,010 mAh battery. Eventhough, the standby battery life is excellent, WiFi drains a lot of juice…! The battery is irremovable . The camera specs of this handset is good. Rear camera and front camera is 8MP. (it also supports flash LED). Connectivity specs include, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, BT 4.0, GPS/APGS,FM.
The InFocus M2 handset’s appearance is normal overall. The front of the smartphone is made up of glass. Each of the highest and bottom bezels are remarkably wide. The lowest portion homes the 3 regular capacitive android navigation buttons. The rear portion could be a bit recurvate and looks to be impressed by the Moto G. The rear cowl features a matte finish that forestall fingerprints and smudges, however, the front glass gets dirty very simply.
The rear cover may be removed to access 2 SIM card slots and a microSD card slot. The device is sort of compact and therefore the build quality is nice. For the budget market, the device can please the consumers. However, it’d have been higher if the front Flash was unseeable properly with the highest edge because it looks somewhat odd.
